Visual Art Update for Monday November 26th, 28th, & 30th

Preschool: Students created Baby Jesus in the manger.
They explored a range of art concepts and constructed the meaning of Christmas.

Kindergarten:
Each student designed their own “Christmas Angel”. They
identified and pointed out design elements and principles in their own artworks and in those of others using art vocabulary

First: Each student designed their own “Gingerbread Collage”. They selected design elements to explore ideas, feelings and relationships.

Second: Mrs. Shreve’s class finished the Nativity Scene and Mrs. Kubas’s class completed their stained glass windows.

Third: Students translated 3-D objects as they seen them or imagined into graphic images using the art and design elements and principles taught. They utilized their chromebooks to create a 3-D Christmas Ornament.

Fourth: Students translated 3-D objects as they seen them or imagined into graphic images using the art and design elements and principles taught. They utilized their chromebooks to create a 3-D Christmas Ornament.

Fifth: Students acquire basic knowledge, skills and experience while creating a symmetrical house design. They incorporated mathematical skills.

Sixth: Each student finished their monochromatic painting and started researching a famous artist.

Seventh: Students presented their famous artists using Google Presentations as a platform.

Eight: Students presented their famous artists using Google Presentations as a platform.
