Fourth: Students learned a new technique of art. They created Notan, Japanese design concept involving the play and placement of light and dark elements as they are placed next to the other in the composition of art and imagery.

Fifth: Students started a project on Jesus’s face. Students imagined the art medium as Veronica’s cloth.
Mysterious cloth in a Capuchin church in Manoppello, Italy, which may be the famous veil of Veronica. The process by which the image was impressed on the ancient fabric is unknown to modern science, and the image appears the same on both sides. It is on a finely woven cloth called byssus, which cannot be painted on, and the image matches not only the exact dimensions of a human face but the exact characteristics of the face on the Shroud of Turin, in every particular.
