Preschool:

Kindergarten: Students listened to the story
“The Girl Who Heard Colors”. Afterwards, they implemented their own perception of what color looks like to them. The technique of collage was applied.

First and Second: Students listened to the story
“The Girl Who Heard Colors”. Afterwards, they implemented their own perception of what color looks like to them. The technique of collage was applied while the students learned about secondary colors and complementary colors.

Third: Mrs. Graber’s had a field trip. Mrs. Koval’s class created a themed weather painting with umbrellas. They identified artworks from their communities and communicated how they reflected cultural traditions.

Fourth:Students combined the elements and principles of art and design to create
visually effective compositions in original works of art. They designed a collage of stormy weather.

Fifth: Students experimented with clay. They designed their own coil pottery. They learned about COILING- A METHOD OF CREATING POTS BY BUILDING BOTTOM AND WALLS WITH
EVEN, ROPELIKE COILS.

HSP: Students learned about the artist Pablo Picasso and cubism. They learned about monochromatic colors and applied this to their artworks.
