Visual Art Update for Wednesday and Friday Feb. 21st and 23rd

Preschool: Collaboration with Preschool students are learning about Dinosaurs. They created 3-D artwork resembling dinosaurs.

Kindergarten: Students learned about cubism. They utilized the same concept and drew a familiar objects then divided them into shapes and lines.

Second: Mrs.Shreve’s class worked on their watercolor paintings of the ocean animals and coral reef.

Fourth: Mrs. Parente’s class worked on their watercolor paintings of the ocean animals and coral reef.

Fifth: The students experimented with different watercolor techniques. They studied the ecosystem of the ocean.

Sixth: Students learned about the famous artist Katsushika Hokusai. They expertined with watercolor paints and created their own interpretation of the “Great Wave”.
