Visual Art Update for Wednesday and Friday Jan. 17th and 19th
Preschool: Students designed their own “Winter Scene” using watercolor paints.
Kindergarten: Students learned about the artist Wassily Kandinsky. They created “Abstract” art using circles as a pattern. They demonstrated beginning skill and craftsmanship while utilizing different art mediums.

Third: Students created an abstract painting using color (achromatic, theories), shape (geometric, organic), and line (curved, straight, wavy).
Fourth: Map Testing No classes.
Fifth: Map Testing No classes.
Sixth: Students became aware of the use of perspective in 2-D artwork to create an illusion of depth, through analysis of the work by Van Gogh.
Seventh: No Classes MLK Day
Eighth: Students started working on the St Ambrose REACH Logo. This is part of graphic Design.
